Hello, if you are one of those "die-hard" motor racing fans you have come to the right blog. If you are not staying in Singapore, you will be glad to know or you may have already known that there is "night-racing" in September 26 to 28 from 8:00PM. We will use the existing street into a racing circuit for the first time in Singapore. It is going to be very exciting and good experience for Singaporean and tourist alike.
Just briefly describe about the Circuit in Singapore, most racing tracks are purpose-built circuits, though there are some exceptions; like Singapore and Monaco tracks (street circuit), and the Belgium track (road circuit). All venues offer different designs, but all would feature a series of straight roads, bends and sharp corners to test the driving skills of racing drivers and thus create excitement amongst the spectators. The number of laps range from 44 (Belgium Race) to 78 (Monaco Race). However small the country of Singapore is, our circuit will have about 59 laps (quite good for a small country) and runs anti-clockwise, unlike others which run in clockwise. There are few countries that their circuits also run anti-clockwise. Bicycle racings are popular in other countries but not yet in Singapore.
